CJS Creative Designs: Beaded Jewelry, Painting and Floral Design

Hi, my name is Cindi Weyer. I love being creative! I paint, I design beaded jewelry, I lampwork my own glass beads, I create flower arrangements.... I have done a number of different decorative arts and crafts and I just keep going! I live in Cedar Rapids with my husband and son. We keep very busy with home projects and outdoor activities. We will have our vegetable garden this summer and hopefully put up a fence around the back yard to keep our son corralled and maybe someday a doggie. Beaded Jewelry This website should give you some information about me and the kind of work that I do. Currently I make beaded jewelry at home and take it to Art shows to sell it. Painting Painted projects are usually individual solutions to decorative problems. You have an idea, you talk to me, we come up with a solution that is workable for your space and your budget. You can request smaller painted items via e-mail or phone. As of August 15, 2009, I raised my hourly rates. This allows me to include sales tax rather than add it on. Rates are on the painting page. Floral Design I work with silk flowers only because I do not have access to a cooler to do fresh flowers. I have done a few weddings, and numerous arrangements for home decor. Floral designs are by special order only. You can see samples of my designs on the floral design page.	July 29, 2010 We just got back from an awesome 2-week vacation! We went to International Falls, MN to stay at Camp Idlewood for one week. Then we drove to Lake Superior and stayed in Grand Marais, MN. We did lots of hiking, eating good food and collecting cool rocks! My husband did some kayaking. We have enjoyed our fresh veggies from the garden this summer. The sweet corn is great and very soon we should have tomatoes and peppers. I'm looking at the end of summer vacation. I can't believe it's almost here already!
